Hospitality

CSBC is a place of welcome and hospitality in the heart of Melbourne, one where all who come can feel at home. During the week our Verandah Café on Collins Street and Credo Café on Baptist Place provide a welcome to those who just drop by or who come with particular needs. Our commitment to hospitality continues on Sundays.

Every Sunday in the narthex we provide morning tea following the 10.30am service and supper following the 5.00pm service. These are great ways to get to know people.
Every second Sunday of the month we welcome all comers to join us for lunch at a local café. We make sure it's always affordable and close by to the church.
Every fourth Sunday of the month we share a community lunch after the morning service. If you are visiting you are most welcome to join us. There's always plenty to go around.
On Sunday nights, every fortnight, we provide dinner and a place to connect with others in Credo Café, a basement space accessible through Baptist Place (off Little Collins Street). It is a gift especially for those who would otherwise go hungry on a Sunday night.
