I have been worshipping at CSBC since Easter 2001, after transferring from Canberra Baptist Church. Born and raised in Adelaide, I was baptised at the Unley Park Baptist Church as a teenager, thanks to the guidance and grace of a schoolfriend.  I was also a youth leader at the Knightsbridge Baptist Church for several years before my move to Canberra.

After moving to Melbourne from Canberra, I visited different churches, but the first time I came to CSBC I knew I had found "home", and looked no further. I was 'hooked' by the warm-hearted and welcoming people, the openness to diversity and social action, a place of peace and beauty in the heart of the city, and services that challenge and inspire. Since then as I have learnt more about this place of worship and its people, I've come to value its heritage, its architecture, its history and its future. There are exciting times ahead for the CSBC community.

I have been part of the diaconate at CSBC since 2003.  I work in communications, particularly in the areas of science and innovation. I've spent some years living in Nigeria, South Africa and Canada, and now I'm a very happy inner-Melbourne apartment dweller. I have two adult daughters and a son-in-law.
