Barb and I came to Collins Street in 1955 planning to wed here. I seems that we were so impressed that we wed the church as well. We have attended almost every Sunday since then, raising our three children in the Sunday school. I served as Treasurer for 10 years and as a deacon continuously since then except for a work-related break.  I worked in Local Government for almost 60 years including 30 years with the Municipal Association of Victoria, the last 10 years as CEO.

Although raised as an Anglican I found Christ through Collins Street and was baptised here. We have been impressed with the outstanding preaching, the meaningful services, lovely music but more importantly the spirit and friendship of the community and the presence of God in our midst.

I want to see the Church as a strong influence in the outside community and continue to support the work of Urban Seed as it aids the poor and disadvantaged.
